Mean Machine continues to anger the roads8/20/16 4:33 PM | Autotek General News
The Mean Machine is evolving with internal improvements in circuitry and signal flow.
The lineup is still the biggest power of the line Autotek line including the new MMA4000.1D which delivers 4000 watts MAXX of Class D efficiency and power.
Two & Four channel amplifiers feature:
Low Noise PreAmplifier - Maximum low voltage signal from the source unit comes into the amplifier circuit with minimal distortion
Variable Input voltage – From 0.2V - 6V to allow balancing the system to any head or source unit.
Variable High Pass & Low Pass crossovers - The two channel amplifiers have both a High Pass from 60Hz-1.2KHz and a Low Pass from 30Hz - 250Hz.
The 4 Channel Amplifiers can assign channels 1 and 2 together and channels 3 and 4 together with the same frequencies making for very versitle installations.
ALL MEAN MACHINE AMPLIFIERS FEATURE:
Full Range Signal Pass Through
Allows additional amplifiers to be run from the "output" RCA connections which will minimize the need for additional cables running the length of the vehicle. This can dramatically minimize noise.
Pro-Fi™ High Speed MOSFETS Circuit
Maximizing power efficiency while improving sound quality and minimizing distortion throughout the amplifier.
MMA2000.1D & MMA4000.1D FEATURE:
Bass Remote Included
Wired Bass Remote allows adjustments to bass frequencies to be made from the control mounted anywhere in the vehicle. Also included on the MMA1000.1 and MMA1500.1
Very efficient D-Class to drive additional power to subwoofer frequencies while remaining in a small footprint.
On board amplifier diagnosis
3-Way System Protection circuitry (thermal, clipping, and speaker short protection) to allow you to monitor the condition of your system at any time.
The Autotek Mean Machine, or “MMA series” of amplifiers offer two options for driving subwoofers. Class A/B amplifiers are larger heat sinks with very musical bass, while the two options of Class D develop even more power, but with more efficient circuitry the amplifier can be a bit smaller for the power delivered.
TUNING THE BASS:
All Mean Machine subwoofer amplifiers Allow for complete tuning of the subwoofer system with Variable Low-Pass controls from 30-250Hz and Variable Subsonic Filter controls from 15-35Hz. Additionally all subwoofer amplifiers have a 45Hz Bass Boost control from 0-10dB and include a Bass Remote for the front of the car.
